Pressure Washer Instructions Helpful tips on using your Pressure Washer.
1) Always ensure that the water supply hose to your pressure washer is unwound and a minimum of 5 meters in length. (This allows for back pressure when the operator releases the trigger).
2) Always use a free flow tap connector at the Pressure washer water supply inlet. (A free flow connector will allow water to pass through when no attachments are fitted).
3) Connect water supply hose, turn on the tap and bleed for a minimum of 30 seconds to allow air locks out of the hoses and cylinder head.
4) Always use an electric power extension lead which will give a rating of a minimum of 10% more than the Karcher pressure washer (i.e, if unit is rated at 2KW use an unwound extension with a minimum of lead with a 2.2KW rating)
5) When storing Karcher pressure washer ensure that the unit is bled down, this can be done by switching the power off the unit, pressing trigger to release pressure, remove water supply hose and then run unit again whilst pressing trigger for 15 seconds to empty excess water.)
